Coach Tim Campbell

C4 Training (Hitting and Pitching Specialist)

At Creekers Cages I'm offering private lessons for baseball players ages 8-18 who are interested in furthering their baseball knowledge and skills.

Background:

As a local resident, I have been coaching multiple sports at the middle and high school level for 19 years.  As a baseball coach, I’ve coached in the Glenwood league (2007 League Champions and 2 time Coach of the Year), at CASH (formerly Linesville HS), and at Fort LeBoeuf HS.  During my time at Fort LeBoeuf I was also in charge of the Middle School Club program including the oversight of several 11-12 U clinics.

Goal:

My goal is to help develop the sport of baseball at the local level through both private sessions, as well as, group clinics.  Private sessions are designed with a focus on biomechanics and skill breakdown to help the athlete understand their skills and how to successfully make in-game adjustments.  Group clinics offer the opportunity to learn with, and compete against, athletes of similar ability to enhance your game.

Hitting:

My approach to hitting focuses on 4 aspects, ARM ACTION, FOOTWORK, TIMING, and EXPLOSIVENESS.  Techniques range from skill building to full length batting practice.

Pitching:

My approach to pitching places an emphasis on velocity development and feel for the position.  I also enjoy working with CATCHERS on receiving the baseball and managing pitchers during an outing.

Background:

As a local resident, I have been coaching multiple sports at the middle and high school level for 20 years.  As a baseball coach, I’ve coached in the Glenwood league (2007 League Champions and 2 time Coach of the Year), at CASH (formerly Linesville HS), and at Fort LeBoeuf HS.  During my time at Fort LeBoeuf I was also in charge of the Middle School Club program including the oversight of several 11U & 12U clinics. This is my second year working with Creekers Cages as a personal trainer.

My goal is to help develop the sport of baseball at the local level through both individual sessions, as well as, group clinics.  Individual sessions are designed with a focus on biomechanics and skill breakdown to help the athlete understand their skills and how to successfully make in-game adjustments.  Group clinics offer the opportunity to learn with, and compete against, athletes of similar ability to enhance your game.

Hitting Philosophy:

I have a 5 sided approach to Hitting (Biomechanical training, Contact/Average training, Explosive/Power training, Timing/Pitch Selection training, and training the mind for success).  These 5 pillars are designed to develop a complete game ready hitter.

Pitching Philosophy:

My approach to pitching places an emphasis on arm safety, and full body movement. The goal is to increase velocity through body efficiency and total body strength.  Training involves band work, heavy balls, long toss principles, biomechanics, muscle development, pitch location, graduated pitch development, and the mental approach to owning the mound.  SIDE NOTE: I also enjoy working with CATCHERS on blocking and receiving the baseball, as well as the mental approach to the position.
